Action Alert — Big Cat Public Safety Act (HR 1818)

The Natural Resources Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives is being urged by HSUS to conduct a hearing on HR 1818, “The Big Cat Public Safety Act.”  This legislation would make it illegal (with certain exemptions) to import, export, transport, sell, breed, or possess lions, tigers, and other exotic cat species.

It is important that members of the House Natural Resources Committee hear from stakeholders who oppose this bill in order to counteract the rhetoric of HSUS.
